The NOS Identity
Joe Alvarez and his business partner Dan Harbison Sr. purchased National Office Systems-(NOS) in 1991. Joe worked for NOS as an installer while in high school and college. Together they have built a successful, expanding company exceeding 10,000 installations. They share key responsibilities including the overall management and direction of the company. Joe primarily focuses on sales and marketing, as well as being the lead ambassador for business development. Dan’s primary responsibility is the daily management of business operations, along with a laser focus on development of technology products.
In January 2023, Joe Alvarez, Danny Harbison, and a private investment group acquired Dan Harbison’s ownership shares. Joe Alvarez and Danny Harbison have partnered together to continue the success that NOS has delivered to the Mid-Atlantic region through innovative solutions that redefine space and manage information. Dan Harbison begins 2023 enjoying his well-earned retirement while his son Danny is enthusiastic about his new role as Partner. “I am fully engaged with driving the process in providing best-in-class solutions. My immediate charge is to continue growing and improving our technology offering to ensure NOS is providing our clients and partners an efficient and effective solution to meet their business needs,” says Danny Harbison, Vice President.
