In 1991, Dan Harbison and Joe Alvarez took the helm, infusing NOS with a visionary approach to growth and innovation. Recognizing the shifting landscape of business needs, NOS listened to our clients who were eager to transition to paperless operations. This led to the creation of CloudTide, a subsidiary dedicated to digitizing paper records and assets. Our innovative use of RFID technology has revolutionized asset tracking, ensuring seamless management of records, furniture, technology, and more.
Our journey continued with the acquisition of American Installation Services (AIS) in 2005, enhancing our ability to provide not only optimal storage solutions but also professional installation and maintenance services. AIS’s expertise expanded in 2010 to include the installation of demountable glass walls, leveraging their transferable skills to offer versatile solutions.
In 2022, a significant milestone was achieved as Joe Alvarez became the majority owner, positioning NOS as a minority-owned enterprise. Danny Harbison, joining Joe in the ownership group, began steering CloudTide’s innovative services.
In 2024, NOS entered a transformative era with the addition of Clint Wagner and Brian Alvarez to the ownership group. Brian’s expertise and deep connections with market leaders bring a foundation to manage corporate marketing and business development. In addition, leveraging his extensive experience, Clint Wagner founded BoldPilot, a full-service furniture dealership aimed at reimagining the dealer experience to meet the sophisticated needs of our clients. Furthermore, NOS proudly earned MBE, DBE, SBE, and 8(a) certifications, highlighting our unwavering commitment to diversity and excellence.
